Back in November, 1988, two ambitious persons, an Irishman, Richard Kelly, graduated from the Hocking Culinary Institute,
and a Chinese, Mitchell Yu, with ethnic food experience, planned to open a Chinese Restaurant in the northwest
quadrant of Columbus; long before the Tuttle Crossing Mall was opened.
On the 8th of May, 1989, the Windchimes was opened to serve the general public in the Northbridge Plaza with the folling
objectives:-
1. Quality products - Every product we serve must be prepared using the proper ingredients, portions and presentation
to ensure that each guest receives a perfect meal.
2. Quality service - We try to generate positive feelings by helping guests to feel comfortable, relaxed
and at home in our restaurant.
3. Atmosphere - The mood is set in the restaurant by the decor, music and lighting, as well as the appearance of the employees.
It provides a positive influence on an otherwise perfect dining experience.
4. Guest relations - Guest recognition is as important as quality food and services. Our staffs are hired for on reason
and one reason only to satisfy our guests needs and ensure their return.
For the past twenty years, we still keep creating new menu items to ensure our guests have a more versatile dining experience.
